Secures top 3 positions in Commerce, 4 in Science

Srinagar, Jan 14 (KNO): The Government Girls Higher Secondary School Zadibal has once again demonstrated academic excellence by securing top seven positions in the Class 12th Board Examinations, the results of which were announced today by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE). In a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the school management said that with the overall pass percentage of around 92 percent, the students from both Commerce and Science streams dominated the toppers' list, with an impressive number of students achieving distinctions and outstanding grades across key subjects. In the Science stream, standout performers included top scorers who excelled in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, reflecting the school's rigorous curriculum and focus on conceptual understanding. In the Commerce Stream, the students shone in Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, Accountancy and Economics with several students securing perfect scores and distinctions that placed them among the Board's top rank holders. Muneeza Hakeem, a dedicated and bright student of GHSS Zadibal, emerged as the 2nd position holder in the Stream of Commerce. Followed by Seerat Shabir and Bushra Islam who secured 4th and 5th positions respectively. Similarly, in Science Stream, the standout performers included top scorers who excelled in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Ummi Rubbab secured the 6th position in the Stream of Science, followed by Sheikh Maryam who emerged as the 9th rank holder in the examinations. Besides, Aayat Ehsan and Mehvish Farooq earned 10th positions respectively, in the said examinations. Moreover, students in the Arts stream achieved several distinctions and brought good repute to the school. In the Secondary Examination results, the students of GHSS Zadibal earned accolades by securing distinctions, reflecting their dedication and hard work. Their performance has brought immense pride to the entire school community. Underscoring the institution's commitment to holistic student development, Principal GHSS Zadibal, Mr. Mohammad Shafi Lone, lauded the staff and students for the commendable accomplishments. "This commendable accomplishment is the outcome of coordinated efforts of our philanthropist teachers, students and parents," he said, resolving to achieve many more milestones in future. The Principal also commended parental involvement and the school's innovative teaching methodologies, including project-based learning which is aligned with the New Education Policy - 2020. This success builds on GHSS Zadibal School's legacy of consistent high performance, inspiring younger students and reinforcing its position as a beacon of quality education in the area—(KNO)
